Steven Minsky, CEO
Steven is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of LogicManager. Steven is an accredited instructor for the Risk and Insurance Management Society. He has helped more than 150 enterprises design their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) charter and action plans and his articles are published in a dedicated column on ERM at ebizQ journal. Steven’s leadership has built organizations and enterprise-class products for corporations including Fair Isaac, Eastman Kodak and Apple Computer. Steven is a patent author of risk management and process management technology and an MBA graduate from the Wharton School of Business.
Connie Whitecotton, CPA CIA CFE, Operations
Connie brings over thirty years of governance, risk, and control experience to her role as chief operating officer at LogicManager. Connie has served as a chief risk and compliance officer; chief audit executive; and, chair and member of emerging risk governance and disclosure committees at organizations including Alfa Insurance, Blount, Inc., McDermott International and Touche Ross (now Deloitte Touche). Connie also had direct responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley 404 for three years. While under her governance, Connie’s internal audit department was one of only twenty audit functions in the world that received The IIA’s Recognition of Commitment award for meeting or exceeding specific criteria in the areas of quality, outreach, and professionalism for 2004.
Bob Nicholson, Sales
Bob is responsible for contacting, educating and selling LogicManager software and services to organizations who are practicing Enterprise Risk Management. Bob was previously Managing Director for the Americas for a leading securities settlement and clearance firm. Previously Bob managed sales organizations at Control Data, Texas Instruments and Legent Computers. Bob’s expertise includes sales in the software industry where he had a strong ability to understand business problems and adapt a software solution. Additionally Bob has consulted in the data management industry where he managed several very successful data warehousing engagements. Bob has a MS in Business Administration and a MS in Computer Systems Management from the U. S. Naval Postgraduate School.
Bernie Lapierre, Engineering
Bernie brings eighteen years to his role at LogicManager combining user friendly design with standards based enterprise-class technology. Bernie is a co-author of two LogicManager pending patents in the area of taxonomy management. Prior to LogicManager, Bernie was responsible at Plexus Software/BancTec for converting backend financial systems and developing production workflows for clients in the Healthcare, Insurance, Banking and Investment Management industries. Bernie brings expertise as a database administrator on both Windows and Unix platforms with Oracle, Informix, and SQL Server. Bernie also is accomplished as a developer with Adobe’s suite of products including Cold Fusion and Flex as well as javascript, html, XML, CSS, powerbuilder, and perl.
