Finance & Accounting Analyst

LogicManager seeks to hire a Finance and Accounting Analyst to join the corporate finance team, with a goal of rapid future growth within the company. The desired candidate will be a versatile finance and accounting professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, is detail oriented, and strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general accounting, book close processes, account reconciliation/analysis as well as accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Prepares monthly adjusting entries for prepaid, deferred and accrual accounts
  • Prepares/runs monthly recurring entries and reversal processes
  • Maintains organized accounting records and assists in providing records for audits as needed
  • Prepare monthly reports on company performance, and aid in creating pro forma projections of company performance

Financial Analyst Responsibilities

  • Support cash flow modeling and analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
  • Contribute to needs analysis and implementation for a new accounting platform
  • Support all aspects of annual external audits
  • Support analysis and reporting of operational business metrics
  • Serves as a financial analysis resource to business managers across key functional areas by participating and leading ad hoc projects

Desired Skills & Experiences

  • 1-3 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytic/problem solving skills
  • Bachelors in accounting or finance is required and professional accounting certification a plus
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of multitasking.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Proven ability to function with minimal supervision, and to be hands on and detailed without losing sight of the big picture
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience preferred
