IMPACT 2016 Registration Terms & Conditions

We’re so happy that you’ll be joining the LogicManager community at IMPACT 2016! Please continue reading for our event registration, attendance, and cancellation policies. Contact impact@logicmanager.com with any questions or concerns.

Registration Approval

IMPACT 2016 is designed to be a LogicManager community event for our customers. Accordingly, we reserve the right the approve and deny individual and group registrations. If your IMPACT 2016 registration is denied, you will not be charged for the event, and will be issued a full refund of any fees paid, without Cancellation Fee, if applicable.

Registration Transfer

If you can’t attend IMPACT 2016, but know someone who really wants to, you can transfer your registration to them until October 31, 2016. Please remember that you are responsible for transferring your travel and hotel arrangements.

Refunds and Cancellations

If your availability unexpectedly changes, the following rules will apply:

  • Refunds are subject to a Cancellation Fee of 10% the total amount refunded.
  • If you cancel before August 31, 2016, you’ll get a full refund, less the Cancellation Fee.
  • If you cancel between September 1, 2016 and October 15, 2016, you’ll get a 50% refund of the amount paid, less the Cancellation Fee.
  • After October 15, 2016, no refunds will be provided.

To cancel your registration, please notify us by email at impact@logicmanager.com.

The amount refunded will be based on the fees paid for the registration(s) you cancel, and will be refunded to your original payment method. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Please note that LogicManager is not responsible for you travel and resident reservations.

If IMPACT 2016 is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by LogicManager, Inc., you will receive a full refund with no Cancellation Fee.

Agenda and Liability

We might make updates to the agenda from time to time, which might include a change in speaker or cancellation of certain sessions. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker, and won’t issue refunds based on changes to the IMPACT 2016 agenda. We also can’t guarantee admission to any individual session, since they are subject to capacity limits and first-come-first-serve availability.

IMPACT 2016 is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If we are determined to have any liability to you, you agree that our aggregate liability will be limited in all cases to one hundred dollars ($100).

CPE Credits

Attendees of IMPACT 2016 are eligible to receive up to 2 CPE credits in Risk Management for their participation in this event. No prerequisites or advanced preparation is necessary, just arrive to Boston ready to discuss all things ERM and GRC!

NASBA CPE Registry LogoLogicManager, Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registeredsponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org

Record Retention

By attending IMPACT 2016, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness, presentation and/or other material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography. We reserve the right to use recordings taken at IMPACT 2016 without giving you notice or any compensation in press releases, marketing materials or other publications.

LogicManager makes the security and protection of customer records a top priority. It is LogicManager’s policy to retain records only so long as they are (1) necessary for the proper conduct and management of IMPACT 2016; (2) relevant to another relationship between LogicManager and the customer; or (3) relevant to possible litigation and claims. This applies to both physical documentation as well as electronic records. At any time, any IMPACT attendee can receive all relevant data in the standard format of its choice (xls, csv, etc.), in addition to any applicable refunds.

Photography, Video, and Audio Recording

Unless we notify you otherwise, you’re permitted to take photos, videos, and/or audio recordings at IMPACT 2016, as long as you comply with our terms and conditions.

Our sessions may include content that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights for which we or our presenters own or license. so, other than for your personal use, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.

You may share photos and videos through social media, as long as the clips are not more than 1 minute in length and you are otherwise in compliance with these terms. For example, posting a live stream of our sessions isn’t allowed. Neither is posting a picture of one of our speakers after we announce that pictures are not allowed.

In addition, you agree that you won’t use any recordings:

  1. in a way that is misleading or disparaging
  2. in a way that implies that the content of the recordings is your own
  3. for commercial purposes (for example, you can’t sell them)
  4. in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor, or approve of your business, services, or products
  5. in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material
  6. after we request that you discontinue use of any recordings, or if we notify you that recordings aren’t allowed

Behavior and Content

We want our entire community to get as much as they can out of IMPACT 2016, so we expect attendees to act responsibly. It is our sole discretion to determine if someone is behaving in a manner that is, or could be, disruptive to the event or other attendees, or is in violation of other event terms. In this case, we can refuse to admit you to, or expel you from, IMPACT 2016 and related events. If we do, you aren’t entitled to a refund of fees paid.

By attending IMPACT 2016, you agree to not leave any personal belonging unattended at any time. LogicManager is not responsible for lost or stolen items during our event, or at our sponsored hotel blocks. You also agree that you won’t bring anything to IMPACT 2016 that could cause a safety hazard. All security concerns should be reported to a member of the LogicManager staff immediately. You must comply with the directions of our security team, as well as all rules and regulations of the facility where the event is held.

The views or opinions expressed by any attendee, speaker, or sponsor are not necessarily our views or opinions. All event attendees, speakers, and sponsors are responsible for their own content; including presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online content. You are not allowed to use any content that infringes on another’s intellectual property rights, is harassing, misleading, or unlawful.

We don’t want any confusion about IMPACT 2016, so you agree that you won’t host any competing events during IMPACT 2016 and that you won’t use LogicManager or the IMPACT 2016 name without first receiving our written permission.

Content Review and Updates

LogicManager is a provider of GRC software and associated services.  As part of the service LogicManager provides, the company offers educational webinars and in-person events to help organizations align with best practices and structure their ERM and GRC programs in an effective and efficient way.  LogicManager’s educational offerings fall under the Management Advisory Services category in the National Registry of CPE Sponsors programs.

Review Policies and Procedures

LogicManager is subscribed to various industry trade publications and news sources in the field of ERM and GRC.  We informally review and update content constantly based on new events, regulatory requirements, or other industry trends. Company content is formally audited and reviewed once every two years by subject-matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that advice still aligns with market best-practices, and will help companies exceed regulatory standards.  Evidence of formal reviews is captured in LogicManager audit management software, and visible at any time should it need to be produced.
